Just read Ray Kennedy has passed away, a great player and a great man, luckily enough to see him play, a magical left foot, Will never walk alone. RIP.

The way we are and have been playing at times this season does any one feel that we/ Klopp is missing the "brain" from last year, Zeljko Buvac? There have been odd games where we have been outstanding yet other times average and some times really poor.

I may get slated by some for this but here goes any way. I feel that we just haven't signed or have a player that can influence a game as Coutinho can, brought in enough quality, or fully addressed last years weakness. Apart from Benteke, Clyne, too early to judge Firmino & Gomez who will get better with experience. Milner is a work horse, spent too much on wages & signing on fee, did we need that type of player when we have Can? Llalana not getting a game,sending Markovitch out on loan, Ballotelli & Borini close to 50 million wasted there. We cannot count on Coutinho to carry this team as without him there is little & no creativity. The defensive pair has to be broken up now, Lovren out Sakho in, maybe look at Llori getting some game time, though I don't think the next game against Utd is time for a major overhaul, but Lovren has to be dropped. Going to bite my tongue on Rodgers, but still think he is tactically naive, hope he gets some sound advice & LISTENS from the new staff he has behind him, though for me walking on very thin ice.

Great team victory today, thought a few were outstanding, a couple not the best games but I'm not going to point fingers as we all have our own opinions on that, just going to get behind the team.
I'm glad to see Can playing more & can see in a few years at this rate the likes of Madrid, Bayer, Barca & a few other's will be sniffing. Our core is a young team with other's knocking at the door the future look's good.
So let's keep going forward, get behind the tae.

1.) Imo we can keep the likes of Can, Sterling and Coutinho out of the reaches of Barca, Real and the other heavyweights as long as we are challenging for major honors when these players hit their peak. City have managed to keep Aguero and Silva out of the reach of Real and Barca because they challenge for titles and pay well, same for Chelsea with Hazard, Courtois etc. We just need to challenge for titles than top4 to keep our best players. Its not a foregone conclusion that will leave, the club needs to do enough to keep players for the long run.

Slightly off topic here, but after watching the mancs game yesterday& seeing mickey rooney getting sent off, will the old boy's at the F.A. have the b*** to hand out a sentence to him as they did to Suarez over the biting incident? Or will they say he's England's captain so be a bit more lenient toward him? Suarez was Uruguayan so he had to pay the price? IMO & I'm sure many more Rooney's was far more a violent one than Suarez, a bite will hurt even though it was intentional Rooney's was plainly violent, intent & possibly career ending to the lad. It's not his first act like this either. Again this is my opinion. your thoughts.

{Ed044's Note - it has nothing to do with Suarez. Furthermore, every player tackles, and some more late/vindictive/cynical than others. Very few bite. It's not part of the game. That said, when it comes to Rooney, he has a history of diving, of getting frustrated and hacking at players, and behaving like an intellectually stunted thug. It is a typical of the FA that they made him captain, thereby creating a rod for their own back which will come back and bite them at some point (not literally. Like Suarez..). His general behaviour aside, the red. card was the right decision but there's no point going overboard about it.}

1.) Who cares about Rooney apart from kingh Singh?

Suarez bit someone, got banned, returned better than ever, won player of the year and inspired a title challenge.

Then he went and bit someone again.

I think the FA were justified in banning him.

2.) Perhaps we should have him put in the gallows? As far as straight reds go it was more foolish than dangerous (although I will admit the ref had every right to send him marching). But hang on, he plays for United so let's blow it out of all proportion!

As if all the 'he didn't even break the skin' comments weren't bad enough at the time now the ban Suarez got has something to do with Rooney.
