I mean, it’s nothing other than hearsay that Glasner threatened to walk. I don’t think Parish is the type of bloke who would bow to that behaviour.
Palace failed to sign his replacement and so it’s understandable in that circumstance that they pull the plug on Guehi.
I think the main culpability for this failed move lies with Parish. They’ve had ages to sign a replacement but he spent the window playing transfer chicken with Hughes thinking we’d eventually up our bid and blink first.
Hughes beat him at this game and was prepared to wait until deadline day, leaving Parish scrabbling for options.
It’s hurt us a bit but it’s not catastrophic.
I’m glad we didn’t engage and pay over the odds. Leave that behaviour to Man Utd.

Not being funny, but if we had our current 11 with Wirtz, Martinez, Kerkez and Frimpong in there. That’s some computer game levels of transfer window that.

I think something not really being considered right now.
Our 7 point gap is a bigger than some think.
If we drop 7 points between now and the end of the season, Arsenal would have to be perfect and win every game for that to be significant.
Arsenal WILL drop more points before the season ends, so they need to drop at least 7 less than we do (poss more because of our superior GD)

Banter question folks.
If the absolute worst happened and we lost TAA, VVD and Salah on frees. Who would be your choice replacements? You can realistic if you want, or just pie in the sky. Just thought it could be a good chat.

I think that RW is the hardest one to come up with a realistic option for who is good enough. Rodrygo is probably pie in the sky, but my proper pies would be Saka or Yamal!
