I am convinced that Jurgen Klopp will bring glory to our team again this season. He is the reason we have won everything in the last five years. The players, the fans, the club all brought together by this guy. We are so lucky to have him. The man is the spirit of Liverpool FC. I trust him 100% and I can't wait for the season to begin. YNWA.

New away form theory!

In '96 united worn an away kit in grey. It's the season they famously changed their kit at half time, away to Southampton. The reason given was that grey is the hardest colour for the eye to pick out. That season they lost 6 games, 4 of them in their grey kit.

Move forward to the '23 season and the indomitable reds have an away kit that does a proper job on your eyes. Horrible to focus on. I would be interested to see our season's results wearing that kit. Our away form has been abysmal, goals scored much lower than our home form or dare I say in our red kit. If you are not picking up a player, you can't pick the pass, you can't find the back of the net.

Just a bit of fun or is it?

Does anyone know about the midfield?

Thiago, Fab and Ox are fit.
Hendo is a doubt.
Keita, Jones and Elliot are out.
Milly?

We have 8 first team midfielders (9 if you put Taki there), I don't go with those who say we should have bought another midfielder. If 8 isn't enough then what number would be. Unlucky with injuries, that's all.

Hi all, been a while. Wanted to ask about Hendo.

A few years back, old red nose wrote about Hendo in his book - ". Henderson runs from his knees, with a straight back, while the modern footballer runs from the hips. We thought his gait might cause him problems later in his career. "

At the time I thought he was just stirring things up like he did with the comments on Gerrard. For the past couple of seasons JH is beginning to have a serious amount of time away from the pitch. As much as I would hate it, was Fergie right or are these things totally unrelated?

A player like Sturridge is likely to be shown the door because of injury. Is Hendo moving into that territory?

About Sakho and his style.

Everyone keeps going on about his pass completion and his stats and that's fine, BUT it doesn't tell the whole story.

The fact that he's not the most aesthetic player doesn't bother except, his high pass completion is when he's not under pressure. I have watched him fold when he's being pressed (yes others including Skrtel have too but don't seem so prone to it due to their skills). But that is when being nibble, a natural footballer can get you out of trouble. Its those times when we need a better footballer and not Bambi on ice.

Strong in defence but when the pressure is really on can't play the ball well from feet. I believe that's why BR doesn't rate him and why stats don't tell the whole story.
