If we manage to win the CL this season, it could be one of the most extraordinary runs ever if things work out in each respective domestic league. We could potentially have played and beaten the champions of France (PSG), Serbia (Red Star), Germany (Bayern), Portugal (Porto), Spain (Barca) and Holland (Ajax), and the runners up in Italy (Napoli) . Granted, the quality of a lot of those opposition have admittedly dropped from a few years ago, but it would feel like a proper *Champions* League if we do win like this.

How is David Coote still a ref at the highest level? I feel like the fact that I've seen his name in headlines next to the words 'mistake', 'debacle', and 'forgot the rules' in the past year alone should have prompted some serious reconsideration as to his credentials. Thank god he was removed as an official for our match against Leicester.

Check my previous post mate a said he got his badge at Halloween a can bet he got there through the back door and not on ability by that I mean from experience as a ref it's down to politics IE have you ever seen a grade 1 ref or fifa ref who is a gunman window cleaner a bet not if you have a good job then your in with a shout any refs with tattoos nope any refs on the dole again nope a bet there's a lot of good refs who could step up but due to things like jobs and being not mates with the big guns help tell me I'm wrong?

James Pearce has claimed that a fee of 30million euros has been agreed with Bayern for Thiago. If true, I don't think it's a coincidence we've finally moved forwards with the negotiations right after we agreed a fee with Sheffield United for Brewster. Would be over the moon if we (finally) sign Thiago!

Having heard so much hype about Leicester, I wasn't impressed by them. They were overly physical, to the point where you'd have expected them to be coached by Pulis or Warnock. The centreback, Soyuncu, was terrible. Maybe I just caught him on a bad day, but I don't know what people see in that lad. Salah didn't have the best of games and he still managed to roll Soyuncu multiple times. We dominated them, and were only lacking that cutting edge that made us so clinical in the past. Have to say, hats off to Milner, that assist to Mane was deliciously weighted, and what nerve that was for that peno!
