I really hope we keep Milner beyond the summer. He is such a bundle of experience and for me the most proffessional player we've had in years. One of the reasons TAA performed so good, was because he had good cover from Milner who dropped deep to close the spaces between the fullbacks and centre backs. Plus the Boring James Milner twitter page always give the most hilarious post match analysis in the eyes of James Milly Milner.

My ideal summer transfer window be liverpool signing a descent left back and Joe Gomez stepping up as cover at CB. Tired of all this VVD and Keta frenzy. We have a good squad, who with just a bit more consistency are strong enough to challenge for title and CL .

{Ed042's Note - You want a left back on the descent? Huh. And why would anyone frenzy over a town in Ghana? }

Can someone shed a bit of light on the Sturridge situation. Why one of the most clinical strikers in europe is seemingly being sidelined. Always got the impression that Wiji and Can were supposed to fight for that central midfield position. Yet it was Couts who ended up coming deeper to create play. I would have thought that having Couts or Lallana as part of the midfield 3 and add Sturridge to front 3 would add some serious potency and end product to the team.

Interesting article by Henry Jackson about the viability of operating Couts in the midfield 3.Your thoughts Reds?

Gentlemen I'm a great believer in buying players with potential to develop into greats. But looking at the current trends I fear the club will need to evolve with the times. Whilst we are looking at youngsters such as Grujic to partner up with Emre Can in midfield, our rivals such as Man U are trying to buy Pogba to partner up with Schweinsteiger or Carrick. Zlatan to help mentor Rashford whilst securing a steady inflow of goals. My dream would be for LFC to create a balance between potential stars and finished products when dealing with transfers. Would have loved to see someone like Nainggolan to partner up with Can whilst the likes of Grujic are given time to mature and develop.
But hey, that's just me.

{Ed001's Note - Nainggolan would not give Grujic time to mature and develop, he would just block him from gaining the experience he needs to mature and develop.}
