Looks like those Liverpool fans who were stuck at the airport might finally get to Kiev.

Heard some fans were attacked in Kiev last night/ this morning - stay safe lads - in large groups ideally.

On another note, if Klopp wins us that final tomorrow night, I hope he is backed with all the finances he needs (within reason of course) to get in those 3 or 4 quality players to propel us into potential title contenders next season (win or lose actually), he deserves it.

I've never had more faith in one of our Managers since Kenny's first stint and he needs backing from the top now, not just nice words.

I'm not an FSG basher at all by the way, they've turned us around slowly, now they need to push the boat out a little this summer.

Enjoy tomorrow all, hope we annihilate Real and it wouldn't surprise me if we did - bring it on!

Well done boys!
Top 4 secured.

As a side thought, wouldn't say no to Fabianski from Swansea if Mignolet leaves and Karius keeps the number 1 role.

Cannot wait for the 26th now!

Chelsea have a tapping up history though. I can name a few off the top of my head that they tapped up or attempted to - a Danny Rose being one but he actually turned them down. But who cares, it happens daily. My own cousin played for a prominent team in Scotland, was tapped up each window, no big deal.

I know I'll get slaughtered for this, but whatever :)

If we're going to move for a player to play when Firmino isn[t upfront this summer, I'd love to move for Vardy (depending on the fee of course) .

Fast, aggressive, hungry, league title winner, Home grown, scores in Premier league with mid table team for fun - his only issue for me is age.

It'll be interesting to see what Klopp means about needing to be "creative" with the injury to Chamberlain leaving our midfield down to 3 recognised, proven CMs.

Wonder will we see TAA moved there for one or both of the last two home games if rotation is required and Gomez/ Clyne playing at RB.

I know Woodburn can play as a CM but maybe TAA might just be the one to step in, it'll be an interesting next fortnight.

The squad is very thin as we know, makes it all the more incredible that we are on the verge of a Champions League final appearance with one more professionally approached performance and right up there in the top 3 in the league - well done to the boys no matter what happens!

Harry Wilson scored again today.

4 goals in 8 games now for Hull in The Championship playing on the wing.

Not bad eh?!

Good on ya Harry lad!

Been saying it for a while now and seem to be getting proven right at the moment but again I will say and no doubt a nay sayer will disagree, but I believe Harry Wilson could be a very good backup choice to Salah and Mane next season and push on from there possibly.

He needs to get a chance, he has lots of natural talent and if he gets that chance I really hope he takes it.

Been watching him for 5 years now or so, very gifted kid.

If Grujic was good enough, he'd play.

Same with Ward and Robertson before the next person asks about them.
They're both decent and might be useful, but clearly the coaches don't feel that they're ready just yet, if at all.

Robertson was a low risk signing.
If he's not quite up to standard, we'll get most, if not all of our money back down the road, maybe even make a profit.

He'll come in when needed, it's not rocket science.
If he does well, he will remain a squad player.
When he signed in the summer, people moaned he wasn't good enough or a big name.
Now they want him in every match it seems.

Some might prefer him over Moreno, but what if he makes an horrific mistake?
The "fans" will get on his back next, he'll be the next player we have whose confidence is destroyed by the hecklers.

There's no patience anymore and it's simply ridiculous.

Yeah agreed, your next door neighbour could be a hacker these days .
Even just getting into your Wifi settings these days, to steal your data or to use your provider's modem in your house is pretty easy I'm told.
He told me that once household refrigerator controls begin fully going through wifi settings as is planned soon, that it will be criminally easy for even low level/ amateur hackers to hack your online details.
He had endless depressing stories about it haha!
Avoided him since :)

Yeah the internet has become a very real monster of it's own making. Can only imagine what happens or is said on the "dark web".
Only found out about that from a guy at work who works in Cyber Security, blew my mind (not in a good way) what he told me he has seen or has investigated himself on there - pretty sure he has only scratched the surface of it too, which is mental.
The next generation most likely are in for a real barrel of sheeit with that once it becomes more known about, used and abused.

{Ed001's Note - I remember the old days, when I first started doing the sites, and being on a P2P network programme. That had some dodgy stuff on there and a lot of hackers too. A lot of decent folk, but a lot of vile ones too and you had to be very careful, there are lots of sick folk out there.}

Back to the original subject briefly if I may, what do you think of Liverpool supporters generally yourself these days?
Have we lost our aura we once seemed to have as a group? Sadly, I think so, due to day trippers in the stadium for matches, trolls on the internet etc.
I suppose all clubs have it but I rarely frequent other clubs' websites etc.
As an Irish guy, I became a fan due to the connection between Liverpool and Ireland plus the fans, about 90% of my decision was due to the fans.
My brothers were Manc or Arsenal fans and could never explain why, but I always could point to our incredible fans, not so sure anymore.
Some top players joined us because our fans were so incredible up until maybe 5 or 6 years ago, not so sure that would happen as much anymore, social media has shown there's a nasty element amongst us sadly.
The way Lucas was treated in the stadium was almost seen as acceptable as he was paid a few grand a week, I found this type of behaviour just grew and has become the norm now for underachieving players.
Only deserving of it if not trying such as with Balotelli in my opinion.

OIrish Kev 1

{Ed001's Note - yes mate, the fans have lost their aura. Very definitely. The official forum is a vile place for instance. It is the same for every club and probably more indicative of the internet allowing people to see the things people used to only say in secret behind closed doors.}

It's a shame whatever the issue is.
It was London that I was living in and around and where I saw the issues with certain sections not bothered about integrating, never had an issue with the English I must say, they couldn't have been nicer to me in fact considering the issues that were still going on with regards to Northern Ireland and me being from the Republic.
I was paranoid moving there initially as to how I'd be treated and would purposefully either keep quiet or try to speak with a soft English accent but I honestly was very surprised (happily) by how I was treated, which is a credit to the English and I always tell people this at any opportunity if they speak ill of the English. It was actually foreigners like myself (but from from further away) who weren't very pleasant or attempted to exploit the situation with myself to be honest. Just shows you though that we all have different experiences/ stories and not all English/ foreigners should be put in the same bracket. There's bad eggs in every batch.
