Whatever FSG say, Liverpool can't or are unwilling to compete in the transfer market. Look at how decisive Man United are. Identify your target and go and get them. It takes Liverpool weeks of negotiation before they buy a player because they keep haggling.
{Ed042's Note - Embarrassing. Who else have United signed apart from Lindelof? And please tell how you know such details about United's dealings. Do you think they jusr woke up one morning and decided to bid 75 million pounds for Lukaku? Please keep away from matters you don't understand }

LFC agreeing terms with Keita is the easiest part. If Salah deal took a month, expect the Keita deal to take two months. LFC are too slow and I can imagine negotiators from the selling team falling asleep when dealing with us.

Is 'Klopp throws down the gauntlet to LFC's young guns' (see James Pearce in the Echo) an indication that we won't sign enough experienced players to go straight in the first 11 or am I just being cynical? I would not put is past FSG.

With the imminent signing of Salah some LFC fans are drooling over our forward line next season. Fair enough. But we have to address our leaky defence.

There are reports that LFC are going to make an improved offer for Salah. Imagine if Chelsea wanted to re-sign the player after impressing in Italy. They would have signed him by now. They would have gazumped LFC just as they did when Rodgers was manager. Something is worryingly wrong with our transfer policy/ negotiations. Is it FSG and their unwillingness to pay or what?
