Various charges being brought against 6 various people in relation to Hillsborough.
Some justice for the families though it will never bring back their lost loved ones. So much wrong was done.
Thoughts are with all those families and those lost.

Eds/ Reds,

A different subject from the usual but was wondering the view of some on the Heysel tragedy and why it doesn't seem to get quite the same mention as Hillsborough does. Is that because Hillsborough happened so close to home and is more publicised in UK?
I was young at the time but I remember both very well, alongside other tragedies such as Bradford, I remember the feelings I had back then of sorrow and loss and the hard hitting reality that no fan should ever lose their life at a sporting event.

Do you think that standing areas at stadiums should be brought back into the game as some clubs have looked at? While standing areas I believe give better atmosphere is all seater safer?
Personally I think that lessons were learned around that time in UK football as a whole and especially at the top level it brought about a general overall awareness and improvement of safety at top level UK football clubs.

Without doubt both tragedies we were directly involved in at that time had a major effect on the club as a whole and football in general. Heysel is a huge thing for Juventus supporters and rightfully so to remember the loss of their fellow supporters, friends and family like hillsborough is remembered. Obviously both tragedies were different but no less important to the families of the loved ones lost.

Then you see the recent events at West Hams new ground and u realise that hooliganism while it has improved has not gone, hopefully it will not end in another tragedy. Will it take more deaths before the idiots wake up?

Cheers.
