Did I read that right? Rashford has won Utd's goal of the month for September. It was a penalty. It was the only league goal they scored. You couldn't make this stuff up.

For what it's worth, just read a piece on espn ranking the top 10 players in the world in each position. Of course they're all debatable, but we did quite well. Alison ranked 4th, VVD was also 4th (ramos was 1, tit), Robbo I think was 8th (not bad from a recent hull player), Mane was 1 for wide forward, salah was 7 and bobby 9 for forwards, klopp was 2nd behind pep. 6 out of the top 100 according to espn, not too shabby.

Just wanted to share as a scouser now in Oz. I've been quite surprised at the coverage our PL win has got down here. Really good in depth coverage on tv and radio. Clearly our stature as a famous club and City, and a 3 decade wait had been noticed far and wide. I've been taken aback at how emotional I've got listening to radio pieces on our win and the effection shown to the club and Klopp in particular. Makes me feel slightly less homesick amongst all the euphoria.

Amazing to think that after 24 games there are only 3 teams closer to us than they are to zero points.
Man Utd in 5th are on 34 points, 36 behind us. Even Chelsea in 4th are 30 points behind us.

I know we have to do the job against Porto, but looking at the semi's, who'd want to face Ajax? After their first leg against Real I said they looked the business and would be a real handful for anyone. PSG tried to buy the CL and Juve clearly tried to win it by getting Ronaldo, but a young, talented, well coached team have played the best football in Europe this season. I wonder how many will still be their next year? I hope they only lose a couple.

Couldn't agree more Ed042. If you consider the cash FSG have spent since they took over, surely they'd be disappointed with our overall results?
