With Loveren available Jurgen prefers Klavan to control Aguero. looks like a naive decision to me.

Personally I'd treat Sturridge as a luxury. The player is made of fine porcelain and should only be brought out on special occasions.
Expensive, beautiful but extremely fragile.
Very impressed so far with Mane who seems to be a grafter of the type we need.
Goodbye to all of those players who've left or are about to leave. Skrtel and Lucas were the type of servants you liked, would give a decent reference for but wouldn't miss their departure.
Same goes for Ibe and Ballotelli but their loss will be largely un-noticed.
I do think we'll regret selling Brad Smith and letting Flanno go out on loan and I wonder how seriously we're taking the newly founded "B-League" or whatever it's called.
Personally, I'd love us to buy Medel, Draxler and either Willems or Hector but I appreciate that this isn't FIFA X-BOX or whatever fantasy games are played by kids and fat jobseekers!
With a week to go I'd urge our management to strengthen our notoriously generous and limp-wristed defence by installing players with a backbone and a brain. Moreno and Mignolet don't even make the cut while Nathaniel Clyne's entitlement to RB leaves me perplexed. We NEED a defence which can defend set-pieces firstly and kick-start attacks with skillful passes.
Is Moreno a brainy defender in this mould?
Does Mignolet fill your heart with confidence?

Okay, only a friendly but very pleased with our performance this morning and with how Jurgen's new-look squad's coming together.
Would love to see more of Trent Alexander-Arnold (very composed today), Cameron Brannigan, Harry Wilson, Ovie Ajaria and Sheyi Ojo (superb tonight) .
Moreno played okay but I'd love us to sign Jetro Willems or Hector (in that order) and Gary Medel (not hopeful) . Can't understand the decision to let Flanagan go out on loan except it may give us a closer relationship with Burnley in the future.
It would seem that Lucas Leiva, Benteke and Mario Balotelli have joined Jurgen's departure lounge but I would seriously urge Klipperty to keep an open mind in respect of his attacking options.
Christian Benteke is famously "unsuited" to Jurgen's style but Klipperty once tried to sign him.
Benteke's stats are seriously good.
i KNOW £34M Is a lot to turn down for a bench-warmer and I would say take the money and get Ayew plus a defender of some quality if we were to sell Benteke.

Personally, I think we're building a pretty strong squad.
The players we're bringing in make sense in terms of covering our weaknesses and we're being sensible in how we look like trimming the squad.
It's still too early to predict what our starting lineup will be at Arsenal on the opening day but, at the moment, we could be going to North London with Mane, Sturridge, Coutinho, Wijnaldum, Origi, Firminho, Benteke, Ings, Balotelli, Milner, Markovic and Lallana as attacking options (plus youngsters) .
Okay, I know at least three of those are likely to leave but it's not too shabby.
Deeper, we've got Can, Henderson, Lucas, Grujic, Allen, Stewart, Chirivella etc. and, again, while it looks like Allen and maybe Lucas could be off, we are pretty-well stocked.
Defensively, we've replaced Skrtel and Toure with Matip and Klavan, although I do feel we'll need a Cole-type LB and, if Clyne leaves, we'll struggle unless Flanagan steps up quickly.
Goalkeeping-wise I'm delighted with the new German and the fact we've recognised Mignolet and Bogdan aren't good enough!
There's still time for some tweaks but I trust Jurgen and co. to assemble a Premiership-challenging squad.

Mamadou Sakho has been cleared of all charges . great news but we could've done with him in the Europa Final!
