One of the things that stuck with me this year was Carra's comments that it has been a long time since Liverpool purchased the finished product of a player in the transfer market.
With Zielinski and Karius looking odds on to sign, and a lot of smoke around Gotze (although could still go either way), I was wondering who would be that one realistic signing that could come in and have a huge impact.

Looking at the team, with Lallana, Hendo, Milner, Can, Firminho, Allen and Coutinho (plus possibly Markovic and the development of Ibe as well as Ojo, Stewart and Chirvella development) we are stacked in midfield then there is Zielinski who I don't know enough about if he comes as a starter, and possibly Gotze.

A fit Sturridge is lethal, Ings looked like he was in for a good campaign before the injury and Origi has come leaps and bounds, leaves the defence.

Clyne has locked down the RB with Flanno backup, Moreno and Stewart could hopefully push each other so we have LB covered and we have Matip, Lovren, Skrtel, Ilori and Gomez for CB, and Mignolet, Ward and looks like Karius at GK.

I think some people in midfield will go namely Allen and with the shortage of LB's, think a commanding CB and/ or a Top tier GK would be the way to go.

Not expexting Lahm as a DM, Neuer as a GK or Alba as a LB, but a Godin or a Handanovic could be reasonable. What are people's thought on how the squad should shape up and where LFC should buy the finished product?

{Ed001's Note - Stewart is not a left back, Clyne has not locked down the right back berth, if Flanno had returned to his best he would now be first choice.}

What position is Zielinski? I thought he was a winger but some posters are saying he's a centre mid.
